It Never Bothered Anyone But me

People walk past beggers on the street

Asking for shelter and something eat

Society says they’re too lazy to work

But really they are broken souls who hurt

It never bothered anyone but me.

People drive past a car crash in smoke

Stopping to stare and gloat

It’s somebodys problem, not their own

All they want is the fastest journey back home.

It never bothered anyone but me.

A lady fell to the floor

She couldn’t stand anymore

People walk past, a silly drunk girl

But her drink was posioned, sobbing beneath her curls

It never bothered anyone but me.

There was something in the road

But drivers are in rushing mode

Turns out its a kitten it needs a push to survive

It’s probably dead- who cares if its alive?

It never bothered anyone but me.

A war broke out a continent away

You saw the women and child who ranaway

It’s not my problem- what can I do?

Who cares about them if it doesn’t effect you?

It never bothered anyone but me.

So many poor beings who live on this Earth

So many children starving, WELL STOP GIVING BIRTH

Isn’t it that simple? Your problems are your own

My interests are my money, and this masion I call home.

It never bothered anyone but me.
